Cider, Brandy Ramborn, the leading cider maker in Luxembourg, is reviving the tradition of cider production. It breathes new life into orchards across the country by picking up the fruit left in them in autumn. It thus contributes to the maintenance and replanting of orchards, in close cooperation with more than 100 farmers to whom it pays a fair price for the fruit. The apples, some of which are old Luxembourgish varieties, come from local orchards. It should also be borne in mind that the orchard is a place of abundant biodiversity - the European equivalent of tropical forests - which must be protected.
