Keen to offer quality products from the Mullerthal through an ecological and economical approach close to the consumer, in 2005 six producers decided to work more closely together and to market their products made or grown in their region more effectively on the markets and in the shops. This is how the association “Mëllerdaller Produzenten” came into being in 2011 to pool ideas and find ways to give greater visibility to producers from the region.
Today, more than 20 companies are involved in this association so that you can discover this beautiful region not only through wonderful hikes, but also through its tasty products!
Often referred to as “Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland,” the Müllerthal region invites you to discover its many facets.
There are many ways to go about this: take a hike along one of the many trails, go on a bike tour, or partake in a tasting of the region’s products. These products say more about the landscape than you might think: the soil, location, orientation, environment and craftsmanship are all beneficial elements for a product. The landscape leaves its mark on the product and vice-versa. Orchards are characteristic of the Mullerthal, with a long tradition and part of the regional rural landscape.
