The LAG LEADER Regioun Mëllerdall  is always looking for ideas to help the region move forward. LEADER stands for “Liaison Entre Actions de Développement de l’Économie Rurale”. This European initiative supports innovative projects that contribute to rural development. The contact in the LEADER region in question is the “Group d’Action Local” (GAL) [Local Action Group]. The LAG is composed of 12 municipalities, 17 associations & the “Natur- & Geopark Mëllerdall”, they meet regularly to discuss the various projects. The LEADER office based in Echternach is responsible for the day-to-day business. The aim is to strengthen the region and to promote its development in the following areas: Tourism – Heritage – Sustainable Development – Community – Training  – Regional Products – Nature.
